Effective: 01 AUGUST 2026Last reviewed: 31 July 2026
India-focused draft. Publish only after the bracketed company details, actual workflows and active contact channels are completed.

Common fraud risks

  • Fake events, artists, venues or organiser accounts.
  • Ticket cloning, resale scams and QR theft.
  • Stolen payment instruments, refund abuse and false chargebacks.
  • Account takeover, phishing and OTP theft.
  • Payout diversion through changed bank details.
  • Forged KYC, licence, attendance or completion evidence.

Platform controls

Encoreats may use verification, device and network signals, velocity limits, payment-provider risk tools, manual review, idempotency controls, QR validation, payout holds, bank-name matching, audit logs and complaint history.

User responsibilities

Use official domains and apps, protect tickets and credentials, verify material changes, do not pay personal accounts outside the authorised flow, and report suspicious contact immediately.

Investigation and action

Encoreats may temporarily hold transactions or payouts, request evidence, contact counterparties, preserve logs, cancel abusive orders, restrict accounts and cooperate with banks, providers or authorities. We will avoid disclosing controls in a way that helps evasion.

Reporting

Use Report Fraud and include the account, event, booking, transaction, communication channel, timeline and evidence. Never send authentication secrets.

Launch and legal-review notice

This is a structured operational draft for Encoreats and not a substitute for advice from a qualified Indian advocate, chartered accountant, data-protection professional, or other specialist. Before publication, replace all bracketed fields, confirm that every email inbox and response workflow is operational, and ensure the wording matches the actual product, payment, refund, data-retention, verification, event, and partner processes.
