1. Scope and transaction-specific terms
This Policy applies to tickets, table reservations, artist or venue bookings, private-party services, memberships, add-ons and other paid Encoreats services. The cancellation terms displayed before purchase form part of the transaction and may provide more favourable rights. Statutory consumer rights always prevail.
2. Event tickets
Unless the listing states otherwise or law requires a refund, confirmed tickets are ordinarily non-refundable for change of mind, travel difficulty, late arrival, denial of entry for breach of venue rules, or failure to carry required identification. Transfer or resale is allowed only where the event rules and platform functionality permit it.
3. Event cancellation or material change
If an event is cancelled and not rescheduled, the refundable ticket amount will ordinarily be returned to the original payment method. Whether booking, delivery, convenience, protection, tax or other fees are refundable will be disclosed before purchase and applied consistently with law. For a rescheduled event or material venue/date change, users will receive the option required by the applicable event terms and law.
4. Artist, venue and private-party bookings
Cancellation charges depend on the booking stage, acceptance, advance, work already performed, committed costs, proximity to the event, and the applicable quote or contract. The exact schedule must be shown before acceptance. Refunds may be reduced by non-recoverable third-party expenses where lawfully disclosed.
5. Table reservations
Reservation deposits, minimum spends, no-show charges and cut-off times must be shown before confirmation. Where a venue cannot honour a confirmed reservation, the applicable paid deposit will be refunded unless the user accepts an alternative.
6. Memberships and add-ons
Membership cancellation stops future renewal where applicable but does not automatically refund an already-started billing period unless the plan, promotional promise, service failure, or law provides otherwise. Unused add-ons are refundable only as stated at purchase or required by law.
7. Failed, pending or duplicate payments
If a payment is debited but no confirmed order is created, the transaction will be reconciled with the payment provider. Bank or payment-system reversal timelines may apply. A verified duplicate charge will be refunded. Do not make repeated payments while a transaction remains pending unless the platform clearly instructs you to do so.
8. Refund method and time
Approved refunds are initiated to the original payment instrument unless another lawful method is agreed. Encoreats will show the initiation status where available. Final credit time is controlled by banks and payment systems. Any legally required compensation for qualifying failed transactions remains governed by applicable payment-system rules.
9. How to request
Submit the booking/order ID, registered contact, payment reference, reason, and supporting evidence through Refund Status or Contact Support. Never send a UPI PIN, card PIN, banking password, CVV or OTP.
10. Chargebacks and disputes
Contact Encoreats first so the issue can be investigated. Fraudulent or duplicate chargebacks may lead to restriction of the account. Nothing prevents a consumer from using lawful bank, payment-provider, National Consumer Helpline, or Consumer Commission remedies.
