1. Scope and legal position
Encoreats may conduct partner identification and due diligence for marketplace safety, contracting, tax, payout and fraud prevention. Encoreats is not itself an RBI-regulated bank or payment aggregator merely because it collects information. A regulated payment or payout provider may separately perform mandatory KYC under RBI and anti-money-laundering requirements.
2. Individuals and sole proprietors
Information may include legal name, photograph, mobile and email, PAN, address, date-of-birth or adult status, bank account proof, professional role, and authority to provide the service.
3. Companies, LLPs and organisations
Information may include legal name, CIN/LLPIN or registration, registered and business address, PAN, GSTIN where applicable, authorised signatory, beneficial ownership or control information where required, bank account, licences and board or authority evidence.
4. Venues and organisers
Additional checks may include property or operating authority, fire and occupancy documents, local trade permissions, alcohol or food licences, music/public-performance licences, insurance, capacity and safety contacts where applicable.
5. Payout verification
Bank account name and ownership must match the verified person or entity or be supported by lawful authority. Micro-deposit, penny-drop or provider validation may be used. A payout may be held while information is incomplete or inconsistent.
6. Ongoing due diligence
Encoreats may request updates when documents expire, ownership changes, risk signals arise, transaction patterns change, or law/provider requirements are updated.
7. Data protection
KYC data is restricted to authorised personnel and processors, protected with appropriate safeguards, and retained only for operational, legal, fraud and audit periods. Do not send original documents through unsecured channels unless instructed.
8. Rejection and appeal
Encoreats may reject or restrict an account for unverifiable identity, sanctions or legal restrictions, forged documents, unsafe or prohibited business, material inconsistency, fraud risk or provider refusal. Applicants may request a review and provide additional evidence.
Launch and legal-review notice
This is a structured operational draft for Encoreats and not a substitute for advice from a qualified Indian advocate, chartered accountant, data-protection professional, or other specialist. Before publication, replace all bracketed fields, confirm that every email inbox and response workflow is operational, and ensure the wording matches the actual product, payment, refund, data-retention, verification, event, and partner processes.
