Pending payment
A pending status requires reconciliation. Do not assume failure based only on a timeout. Check the booking status before retrying.
Failed but debited
Provide the provider transaction reference and timestamp. Automatic reversal timelines may apply through the bank or payment system.
Duplicate payment
Provide both references and the corresponding booking IDs. A verified duplicate charge will be reviewed for refund.
Unauthorised payment
Immediately contact the bank or payment provider, block the instrument if advised, secure your Encoreats account and report fraud. Do not delay while waiting for platform support.
Subscription charge
Check the mandate, billing period, plan, renewal notice and cancellation date. Cancelling future renewal does not automatically reverse an already completed charge.
