Payment Terms

Transparent pricing, payment processing, subscriptions, refunds, failed transactions and partner settlements.

Effective: 01 AUGUST 2026Last reviewed: 31 July 2026
India-focused draft. Publish only after the bracketed company details, actual workflows and active contact channels are completed.

1. Prices, taxes and fees

All amounts are shown in Indian Rupees unless stated otherwise. The checkout must disclose the base price, taxes, platform or convenience fee, discounts, credits, and total payable before authorisation. No hidden pre-ticked charge should be added.

2. Payment providers

Encoreats uses banks, authorised payment aggregators, gateways, card networks, UPI participants and other regulated or contracted providers. Your payment is also subject to the provider and issuing-bank terms. Encoreats is not a bank, card issuer, wallet issuer or payment system operator merely because it provides a checkout interface.

3. Payment authorisation

By paying, you confirm that you are authorised to use the instrument and authorise the amount shown. Never disclose a UPI PIN, OTP, CVV, ATM PIN, banking password or full card number to Encoreats support.

4. Confirmation and pending status

A debit alert or provider success screen is not final confirmation of the underlying booking. The Services will confirm only after backend verification. Pending transactions may require reconciliation and must not be treated as failed until the stated review period ends.

5. Card and account data

Encoreats should not store sensitive authentication data. Payment providers may tokenise or store instruments where you separately consent. Encoreats may store masked details and transaction references necessary for support, accounting, fraud prevention and reconciliation.

6. Recurring payments

Subscriptions renew only under a valid mandate or clear recurring-payment authorisation. The billing amount, frequency, renewal terms, cancellation method and material price changes must be disclosed. Cancelling a plan stops future renewal but does not automatically reverse an already completed lawful charge.

7. Refunds, reversals and compensation

Approved refunds are initiated to the original method. Provider and bank timelines apply. Failed-transaction reversals and any customer compensation are governed by the applicable RBI or payment-system framework and the participating regulated entities.

8. Chargebacks and payment disputes

Users should provide the order ID, transaction reference and evidence. Encoreats may share transaction records with the payment provider, bank, partner or authority to investigate. False disputes may result in account restriction and recovery of lawful costs.

9. Partner payouts and settlement

Artist, venue and organiser settlement depends on verified identity and bank details, completed service, applicable hold or dispute periods, refunds, taxes, commissions, adjustments and provider processing. A platform status such as “released” must not be represented as bank credit until the payout provider or banking record confirms transfer.

10. Invoices and tax

Invoices, credit notes, tax collection, withholding and GST treatment depend on the contracting party and applicable law. Partners are responsible for accurate tax registrations and invoices where required.
