Responsible AI & Synthetic Media Policy

Future-facing rules for recommendations, moderation, generation and synthetic media.

Effective: 01 AUGUST 2026Last reviewed: 31 July 2026
India-focused draft. Publish only after the bracketed company details, actual workflows and active contact channels are completed.

1. Scope

This Policy applies where Encoreats uses machine learning or AI for search, recommendations, fraud signals, moderation assistance, customer support, media generation, analytics or other features.

2. Human accountability

AI assists but does not remove Encoreats’ responsibility. High-impact account, safety, payout, legal or verification decisions should have proportionate human review and an appeal path where appropriate.

3. Data and privacy

AI systems should use necessary data, respect consent and purpose limitation, avoid training on private user content without an appropriate legal basis and notice, and apply security and retention controls.

4. Fairness and safety

Encoreats should test for material bias, unsafe recommendations, discriminatory outcomes, hallucinated event facts, manipulation, fraud and harm to minors. Models must not be used to infer sensitive traits unnecessarily.

5. Transparency

Users should be told when they interact with an AI assistant or when content is materially AI-generated. Sponsored ranking and meaningful automated factors should be described in understandable terms.

6. Synthetic media

Synthetically generated or materially altered audio, images or video that may appear real must be declared, prominently labelled and, where technically feasible and legally required, carry persistent provenance information. Labels or metadata must not be stripped. Unlawful deepfakes, impersonation, non-consensual imagery and false event evidence are prohibited.

7. Review and reporting

Report harmful AI output, incorrect event information, impersonation or missing labels through Report Abuse. Encoreats may remove content, restrict tools and preserve evidence.
